Fines and Fees
Overdue Fines
The West Frankfort Public Library charges 10 cents per day per item for overdue fines. If the library sends an overdue notice there will be a fee of 75 cents charged to the account for every notice mailed to cover the cost of the mailing.
If you order an items through IHLS or checkout from another local library, any overdue fines will be based on the policies of the library that owns the item.
Non-Resident Fees
If you live outside the city limits of West Frankfort the library does not receive any funding from the taxes you pay. The non-resident fee is only $50.00 per year for your household.
Community Room Rental
The rental for the Community room is $15.00 for up to 4 hours. Library by-laws state that the Community Room cannot be used for any money making purposes. Rental of the community room should be scheduled in advance and is only available during the library’s operating hours.
Computer Use
Access to the public computers at the West Frankfort Public Library is free to all West Frankfort library card holders in good standing for 2 hours per day. If you do not have a West Frankfort Public Library card the cost of computer use is $5.00 per hour. Printouts are 25 cents for black and white and 75 cents for color.
